Roommates, let’s keep the family of a North Carolina’s Butler High School student in our prayers as a school shooting has occurred early Monday morning.
According to police, “there is one student that has been shot that was transported to the hospital.”
Initially, the student was in critical condition at a local hospital. Unfortunately, we have learned that he passed away.
The name and age of the student have not yet been released.
One student has been taken into custody and the lockdown that was placed on the school has been lifted at this time as the scene has reportedly been secured by authorities.
The incident reportedly took place following an argument between two students.
The family and friends of the victim are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
