#Roommates, #Target has announced that they’re dropping their prices! In a statement from Target’s Executive VP and Chief Merchandising Officer Mark Tritton, he wants “guests to feel a sense of satisfaction every time they shop at Target. Part of that is removing the guesswork to ensure they feel confident they’re getting a great, low price every day.”
He went on to say that the company as “spent months looking at our entire assortment, with a focus on offering the right price every day and simplifying our marketing to make great, low prices easy to spot, all while maintaining sales we know are meaningful to guests.”
The news of Target’s new price model is made following Amazon’s purchase of Whole Foods and promise to cut prices. Regardless of who started the trend, consumers can look forward to getting much-needed items for fewer coins.
Though there is no word on when the price change will take effect, Target emphasized thousands of their items will be lower.
