Those of you who are familiar with the iconic ‘Martin’ show know that one of the running jokes is that his bestie, Tommy, never had a job. The comedian would tease his friend by saying “You ain’t got no job!” however, in the latest episode of Bossip’s “Don’t Be Scared” podcast, actress Tisha Campbell reveals that Tommy did have a job…a very noble one at that!
“Tommy really did have A job, I’ll give you a hint,” Tisha teased. “The woman I was gonna fight, she was Martin’s teacher; Beverly Johnson, in that episode that’s the first time you hear about Tommy’s job.
The second time you see Tommy’s job is in the Christmas episode when he brings us to speak to children and Martin calls the little boy “water head,” she continued. “So Tommy talks about him being in the Boys & Girls Club and he was a counselor at the Boys & Girls Club. That’s what he did for a living.”
There you have it, Roommates! Who would have thought he was working with children that whole time?
