#TSRPositiveImages: This 9-Year-Old Virginia Entrepreneur Created Her Own Line Of Skincare Products

#Roomies, what were you doing at 9 years old? This little girl from Fredericksburg, Virginia, already has her own business! Jelani Jones is the owner of Lani Boo Bath, which sells natural and homemade bath products.

According to the Atlanta Black Star, she was inspired to start her company after her favorite vendor at the local farmers market taught her to make bath products.

“After we left my first class, I talked about a business and my mom asked what I would call my business and I said Lani Boo Bath,” said Jelani, who is also a straight A student.

Her parents covered the startup costs for her first batch of bath bombs and the young entrepreneur grew her business through the power of social media.

Jelani said her most popular bath bombs are the Lavender, Sweet Pea, Eucalyptus Spearmint and Mango Papaya. Her products are available on Etsy and Facebook, and are shipped around the country.
