Looks like the track runner… (oop we mean Jetblue flight attendant) who left her 8 1/2 sized Gucci shoes in the dust after being caught with $2 million worth of cocaine at the LAX airport has finally turned herself in!
According to the NY Post, Marsha Gay Reynolds was arrested in NY yesterday after turning herself in to the DEA. The former beauty pageant contestant made headlines when she panicked after being stopped at a checkpoint with nearly 70 lbs of cocaine tucked in her bags… chile we know she was sweating like a prostitute in church!
Anyways, it is reported that she was able to get away and board a flight to JFK airport before authorities could get any real identification on her. TSA agents did not run after her because they wanted to make sure her bags did not contain any “explosives or any dangerous devices.”
“Our nation’s security depends on every individual with security clearances to honor the trust placed in them. The defendant’s conduct violated that trust and, in the process, exposed the public to a major narcotics transaction and the dangers inherent to such a transaction,” U.S. Attorney Eileen M. Decker said in a statement.
Reynolds then decided to chill at a Hilton Hotel near the airport probably too afraid to stay at her Queens apartment.
She apparently was expecting to get lucky after her drug drop off because TSA agents reportedly found Trojan Magnum condoms in her bag as well!
Marshall McClain of the Los Angeles Airport Peace Officers Association, described the former NYU track and field team member taking up her old ways as he said ,“She kicked her high heels off and left her shoes and bag behind.”
He also goes on to say, “She knew if she dropped both of them, she’d be able to run away more quickly” …smart girl..(no we do not condone this kind of mess!)
She is supposed to be due in court today and could possibly face up to 10 years in prison.
