Love is in the air, y’all and it’s not discriminating! A fellow Roommate told us that Jussie Smollett has been seeing Anthony Hemingway (People Vs. OJ, Underground) and insists that everyone, even the legendary Lee Daniels, is rooting for them! Our Roommate, who is very close to the both of them, tells us that they’ve been on and off for about fours years and became a subject of conversation when Anthony worked on the set of #TrueBlood with Jussie’s sister, Jurnee!

Our Roommate writes:
“They met years ago on set of Jussie film The Skinny. While Anthony was directing Jurnee in True Blood, she been pulling for them. Jussie even wrote a song about him called “Hemingway” that he performed on the show “Verses and Flow” last year. Jussie’s family calls him their future brother in law and Lee Daniels was heard saying that he prays they get together! They looked so happy and with both of their successes right now (Jussie with Empire, singing/acting career and Anthony with People Vs. OJ, Underground, etc), they’d make a power couple.
They are both the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, but the only catch is their scheduling! They’ve been off and on for about four years, but scheduling makes it hard for them to have a smooth relationship. That still hasn’t stopped their love, though. Even when Anthony was dating one of Tinashe’s dancers, he would say that Jussie is his heart and will be his for good when the time is right. They’re the real deal. Everyone says they are meant to be together.”
