Looks like Afrika Bambaata’s sex abuse scandal has just gotten worse as three more men have come forward making the same allegations against him.
According to the NY Daily News, all three men say they were abused between the ages of 12 and 13. 39-year-old Hassan Campbell, says Bambaataa provided a safe haven for him during his teenage years.
“He had the most fun house in the world,” Campbell said about the times he hung out at Bambaataa’s apartment in the Bronx in the 1980s. “There were celebrities there, musicians, neighborhood heroes. It was the best place to be – and the worst place to be.” He then proceeds to call him a pervert who “likes little boys.”
The second man to come forward is a 50-year-old New Yorker who wishes to stay anonymous. “I know what Ronald Savage is saying is true because he did it to me,” he said in a statement to the NY Daily News. “I have never spoken to anybody about this and when I did, I said ‘Holy s—, they finally caught up to him.'”
Lastly, 51-year-old Troy also stepped forward detailing how Bambaataa showed him a book with a picture of a penis inside where he allegedly Bambaataa said, “‘You don’t have to be gay for me to suck your d—.”
He goes on to talk about how the abuse affected him over the years.”I still have a lot of anger about this,” said Troy. “I’ve been dealing with this for years. It’s a shame this didn’t come out earlier.”
Bambaataa has maintained his innocence and says that the allegations are all apart of a government conspiracy… mmmm where have we heard this before? The real question is who is telling the truth and who isn’t? Lets chat below!
