Unfortunately, the infamous George Zimmerman is back in the news again after pissing off Trayvon Martin supporters yet again. Apparently Zimmerman is auctioning off the handgun he used to kill young Trayvon!
According to TMZ, the Kel-Tec PF-9 9 mm aka the “American Firearm Icon,” is being auctioned off on Thursday at 11am via Gunbroker.com with the bids starting at $5,000.
He claims the gun to be “a piece of American History” with a statement on his site that reads, “I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American Firearm Icon. The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012.”
Can you believe this guy? Anyways if that doesn’t get you angry enough, you should hear what he plans on using the money for!
Apparently he wants to use it to stop Hillary Clinton’s campaign and as well as to stop “violence against Law Enforcement officers” which he believes that the Black Lives Matter movement is responsible for.
He also claimed that the Smithsonian had expressed interest in buying the gun, a claim which the museum quickly shut down via Twitter
We have never expressed interest in collecting George Zimmerman’s firearm, and have no plans to ever collect or display it in any museums
