Earlier this month, Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose were spotted out at a strip club together, and many assumed they were celebrating their divorce. Amber then went on to say they weren’t celebrating their divorce, but their love for each other.
Who would celebrate a divorce, though? It’s a very difficult time for both parties, especially when they’re still in love, as is the case for Amber and Wiz. Nevertheless, she set the record straight via Twitter and then again during an interview with Hot 97 yesterday.
“We signed our divorce papers five months prior to that day,” she explained. “That day we mourned it, cried, it was a lot. It took that long to go through the court system.” It was just a coincidence that Wiz chose to pull up on Amber for a night out on the town that night.
“He came, picked me up in the lowrider and it was a nice little date,” she said. “Me and Bash’s dad. That’s my best friend. I love him to death. We just can’t be married.”
Now, even though Rose says that they definitely can’t be a couple right now, she is more than open to rekindling their romance some years from now. She even says she wants another baby and jokingly admitted “I tell Wiz all the time–please freeze your sperm for me.”
We all know that there’s some truth behind every “JK”.

Also, The Amber Rose Show is set to air on July 8th despite a previous listing of June 17th, due to the set not being finished. Regardless, Rose says she practiced for a whole year and a half leading up to this day, so I’m sure that this will be an awesome show!
