As we see more and more celebs coming together to lend a helping hand during this viral pandemic, 2 Chainz has now joined the list and donated meals..

The Atlanta rapper and his business partner, Mychel “Snoop” Dillard, dropped off hundreds of meals to healthcare workers at Southern Regional Medical Center, in Atlanta, GA.

Sponsored by his restaurant, co-owned by Dillard, Escobar Restaurant and Tapas Lounge and Tru Foundation, they were able to make a difference.

Dillard stated, “Escobar is an establishment that has always been about the people,” says Escobar co-owner, Mychel “Snoop” Dillard. “When things affect our community, its only right that we contribute in any way possible — we are looking to do that with food for the healthcare workers of Southern Regional Medical Center.”

It’s no secret that 2 Chainz gives back. He has also given to the homeless, paid a year’s worth of rent for disabled vets, providing lunch and toys for children, and much more.

Rihanna, Jay Z, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, Kevin Hart, Diddy, Lizzo, and many more have given back to help with the COVID-19 relief effort.

The viral pandemic has caused quite an interruption in our day-to-day lives.

Schools all over the country have closed, while teachers and parents adapt to virtual learning.

Over 20 million people have filed for unemployment, and other people have taken pay cuts.

States like California and New York have been hit by the COVID-19 the hardest. On the contrary, Texas has decided to open its’ state this upcoming Friday. Florida also opened its’ beaches with limited access.

The government has also passed a stimulus bill that allows Americans to get $1,200 to offset costs, during this trying time.

According to worldometers.info, the United States has had 764,177 confirmed cases with 70,172 recovered and 40,591 lives claimed.
