2 Chainz seems to be loving the political high horse he is on because word on the street is he wants to run for mayor of College Park, Georgia!
The rapper recently sat down with XXL where he dropped the news. “I’m a musician, not a politician,” he said. “I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.”
He made his political debut with the world when he engaged in a heated debate with HLN’s commentator, Nancy Grace, over the topic of weed legalization. Much to many people’s disbelief, 2 Chainz was relentless against Grace’s slick verbals and was crowned victorious in the battle. He talks about how he probably won’t do another battle with her but he has received a lot of love since the debate.
“I moved on, man,” 2 Chainz told XXL. “I don’t know what’s going on up there. I know I’ve been getting a lot of praise and everything. I definitely appreciate the love that came behind me.”
Just incase some people question what the “Hair Weave Kiler” has to contribute to the state of Georgia, heres some fun facts you may not have known about him. 2 Chainz, who’s real name is Tauheed Epps, is a graduate from Alabama State University with a 4.0 GPA as well as graduating second in his high school class. Moral of the story, never judge a book by it’s cover.
