Roommates, do you all remember when we reported how Tichina Arnold found out that her husband, Rico Hines, was cheating on her earlier this year?
She had allegedly found a sex tape on his phone which featured him not using protection with a much younger lady, so she sent the video to friends on a group text with the caption, “It’s over between Rico and I. This is where I part ways and all bets are off.” The savagery.
Anyway, the Survivor’s Remorse actress exclusively told People Magazine why she chose to call it quits.
“I could no longer trust him. I could no longer lay with him. And it doesn’t make him a horrible person. We all make mistakes, but not with me and not on my time and not in my life,” she said.
Arnold also revealed that this was not her husband’s first time stepping out on their marriage and explained that after noticing a pattern, she had to make better choices for herself.
“There’s a point where you eventually have to jump ship and save yourself, so I just merely saved myself and represented a lot of women that don’t know how to save themselves.”
Even after everything the 47 year old’s (bish where?!) been through in recent months, she’s still open to dating and finding love, but she warns us not to hold our breath for a wedding!
“Oh no! Getting married is not gonna happen again. I know that for sure,” she said. “Like, this was my second marriage. I always say three strikes, you’re out. I don’t even want to make it to three strikes.”
At least Tichina Arnold is showing signs of healing by showing a bit of a sense of humor. Laughter is, after all, the best medicine!
