Last Thursday Love and Hip Hop Atlanta reality star Karlie Redd got into a heated argument with rapper and promoter Pharaoh, in an Atlanta hotel.
TMZ originally reported that Karlie was allegedly drunk, and once they got into the argument she locked herself in the hotel bathroom when Pharaoh attempted to leave the room.
She apparently threatened to flush his things down the toilet and is said to have also told Pharaoh that she would tell people that he raped her.
The rapper did his best to keep his cool while all of this occurred and he even went to get hotel security.
Pharaoh issued a statement to Rolling Out saying:
“As someone who has two sisters and young fans I’m gravely disturbed and disappointed by Karlie’s accusations, actions, and behavior. I feel as if I have been used for a possible story-line and I am bothered by this because this is someone I actually truly cared about. We are at a pivotal and delicate time in our country and world, We have too many real issues going on in our community and against our people for us to be distracted by nonsense. I am fully focused on being a musician and creating music that uplifts others. At this point my only focus will be my music. I thank everyone for their support.”
Due to the severity of the accusations, Pharaoh wanted to clear the air and let his fans know that he is not a man who would take advantage of a woman.
Pharaoh has now filed a restraining order against Karlie. She is to remain 200 yards away from the rapper and the two are both due back in court next month.
