Looks like another Housewife has the IRS knocking at her door for unpaid taxes and you won’t guess who! According to BET, Mrs. Nene Leakes was slapped with a Federal Tax Lien back in July for owing almost a million dollars in back taxes!
Documents state that the reality star owes $830,000 from unpaid taxes in 2014 which means that year must’ve been a very lucrative year for Nene. Lets not forget, Nene whose real name is Linnethia Monique Leakes, was still collecting checks from RHOA as well as the checks from her HSN clothing line, ‘Dancing With The Stars’, and as Cinderella’s wicked stepmother on Broadway.
Word on the street is if she doesn’t pay up the IRS is threatening to seize her assets including the $2.1 million Georgia home she’s living so lavishly in. Well it looks like the 48-year-old is unbothered by the news because she took to her Instagram to show how she felt about her tax troubles.
