Many media outlets had a field day yesterday after a story was released claiming that God told mega-pastor Creflo Dollar to endorse presidential candidate, Donald Trump. Hilariously, the site claimed that Dollar said, “God came to me in a dream last night and said that Trump is his chosen candidate. God apologized for the mixed messages he was sending. I now know that Trump has been touched by the hand of God.” Then they alleged that he compared Trump to John the Baptist by saying, “Trump is like John the Baptist, sent to prepare the world for the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ,” he added.
None of this is true, at all, and the pastor made a statement today via Facebook to clear the air.
“Any reports stating that I have endorsed Donald Trump for President are false,” he wrote. “At World Changers Church International, I nor the ministry endorse any political party or candidate; nor do we advise our members who to vote for. Any claims or statements claiming otherwise are false. This rumor originated on a satirical website and is 100% untrue.”
He also took to his Instagram to slam the Trump talk
At this point, it’s almost impossible to conceive God telling anyone to endorse Donald Trump. However, He does work in mysterious ways *blank stare*.
