It’s not often we hear about rappers talking about their time behind bars, we never really hear about the jail tea. Lil Wayne will be releasing his memoir ‘Gone ‘Til November, and let’s just say Lil Wayne spilled some tea none of us would have expected.
This book is filled with all of Wayne’s diary entries from when he was locked up in New York’ Rikers Island back in 2010.
According to Page Six ,
Wayne talks about how he married two male inmates, and instead of fancy traditional decorations, they used toilet tissues for decorations and toasted with 13 bottles of Gatorade.
He said, “Gatorade is liquid gold in this bitch .?.?. Imagine seeing grown-ass men in jail hanging tissue for wedding decorations. AND one of them is Lil Wayne. Crazy.”
He goes on to talk about how he had had one of his girlfriends come up to the prison, with no panties on, so she could “do a ‘Basic Instinct.’?” But that wasn’t going to work because “they have extensive-ass searches before you come in here, so they made her put on a pair of boxers because they knew she didn’t have on panties. Damn!”
The most juiciest part is when Lil Wayne revealed that Drake admitted to sleeping with his girlfriend.
“Finding out that she f—ed Drake was the absolute worst thing I could have found out. Drizzy came to see me, he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s true’. Damn! This is the type of s— a man never wants to find out while he is locked up.”
