Let’s take a break from all this Meek and Game beef Roommates because the best beef of all time is coming back to the big screen! That’s right, Mufasa, Scar, Simba and the entire crew will be back at it again as Disney has announced that they are creating a remake of the film!
Now, Lion King is a classic and sometimes classics should just be left alone–that being said, let’s hope they get it right!
According to Disney, The Lion King’s worldwide gross of $968.8 million exceeds the gross of any film, Broadway show or other entertainment title in box office history.. Okay Lion King, we see you!
The remake of the Academy and Grammy award winning movie will be directed by Jon Favreau, who was also the director of the remake of The Jungle Book which killed the numbers in the box office earning $965.8 million worldwide.
