The normally controversial and out spoken Azealia Banks got very emotional when she opened up about the night she was allegedly assaulted by Russell Crowe a few weeks ago.
In a sit down with Access Hollywood’s Alex Hudgens, Azealia defends her allegations about Crowe spitting on her and calling her the “N” word.
“Every time something like this happens, I’m always like being blamed for like wanting this kind of attention,” a teary eyed Azealia said. “Like, who f*cking wants to tell someone they got spat on? That’s humiliating. I’m just really, really humiliated.”
Azealia claims that the actor was drinking and began throwing shade at her. She said she responded back with more shade in defense. Things went really left when she got into it with another female party goer.
Crowe’s camp says that Azealia threatened to physically harmed the woman with a glass and had picked up a glass in an attempt to go after her. Well the singer says things went down differently, “I had the glass in my hand because I was drinking, everybody had a glad in their hand we’re all drinking. I’m like ‘girl you need to chill because I’ve seen this situation get crazy.’ So Russel Crowe looks at me and he goes ‘even if you tried you wouldn’t get a chance to f*ck her’ and then he chokes me, picks me up, throws me out of the room and spits on me.”
What makes it hard for Azealia is that no one will defend her story, not even RZA who was Azealia’s date to the party. He went on to Facebook to basically throw Azealia under the bus and claimed she was the aggressor.
“The frustrating point is like immediately RZA is giving me the look like ‘oh my God you’re f*cking up my seat at the table with the white guys, like the big white Hollywood guys,'” she claimed. Im just like RZA you dod not see that man just choke me and call me a n*gger and spit on me?”
She said he reaction was to not say anything. It doesn’t help that there isn’t any video of the alleged assault as well. Check out the rest of the interview below and lets chat… who’s right who’s wrong?
