Things are getting crazy again in the world of Charlie Sheen after his 7-year-old twin sons were reported missing earlier today.
According to PEOPLE, Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller may have had an episode after being off her meds. Apparently, she was seen at a Salt Lake City bar with the boys last night. She was barefooted and was also accompanied with their nanny.
Police were called when she and the nanny apparently got into some sort of altercation. Mueller dipped out with the kids before authorities arrived as was eventually tracked down after she reported tried to book a hotel room nearby.
“Brooke went off of her medications,” a source told them. “She is being treated for the issue now.”
Luckily the boys have since been found safely and unharmed.
“The boys are fine and with their nanny,” the source added.
Charlie has not commented much on the situation but he did tell TMZ, “I’m just trying to get my kids home safe. I have no other details that relate to the ongoing event.”
Mueller has had issues with substance abuse in the past and at one point had to temporarily give up her kids to Sheen’s other ex wife, Denise Richards, while she went to rehab in Utah. She was believed to be still continuing her outpatient treatment.
We’re glad the children are safe and hopefully Sheen’s ex wife gets the help that she needs.
