The #UNameItChallenge has taken social media by storm. Every where you look someone is singing or dancing to an old clip of gospel singer, Shirley Caesar’s performance of “Hold My Mule.”
By now I’m sure we all know Shirley is going to have “ greens, beans, potatoes, and tomatoes,” at her house for Thanksgiving. You name it and nine times out of ten Shirley is going to have it.
The award winning gospel singer shared her thoughts about the challenge on “The Willie Moore Jr. Show.”
She said, “I was out in the middle of the ocean, and one of the members from my church showed it to me,” she said. “I was so shocked to see them dancing and boogeying… the Lord is so good to me… to come home and millions are listening to the song…”
