Floyd Mayweather is catching the fade from a lawsuit after he skipped out on an appearance in Vegas.
TMZ is reporting that The SLS Hotel in Vegas is pissed with the undefeated boxer after they contracted him to host his 39th birthday at their Foxtail Nightclub on Feb. 20. Apparently, he stood to make an easy $35k for just showing his up and showing his face for 90 minutes but unfortunately Floyd had other plans.
Floyd figured that Europe was a better place to spend his birthday and decided to celebrate there. To add insult to injury, the hotel had already paid Floyd half of the money up front.
Now SLS is suing for the money they gave him in advance plus damages. As for now Floyd hasn’t commented on the suit has allegedly refused to give the money back.
Welp, if they’re giving out any more free money we’re down to do an appearance or two!
