Social media went crazy after Kanye West went to meet with president-elect Donald Trump yesterday. Celebrities also had their fair share of comments and John Legend is the latest one to chime in.
Ironically enough Legend didn’t have many nice things to say about the meeting and even went as far as to call the whole thing a “publicity stunt” during his interview with Clique.
“I don’t think it’s impossible to talk to [Donald Trump] about issues, but I won’t be used as a publicity stunt. I think Kanye was a publicity stunt,” he said.
If that wasn’t bad enough, John also said that he was disappointed in ‘Ye’s choice to stand behind Trump during his campaign run.
“I’m pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump. I think Trump has been corrosive, his message has been corrosive to the country. I think the things he’s promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing,” he said.

This is a different take then what Asap Ferg had on Kanye’s master plan with America’s newest president. He went on Twitter to say he thinks the Chicago rapper is very strategic about what he’s doing.
