Run-DMC slapped Walmart and Amazon with a multi-million dollar lawsuit after they accuse the mega retail companies of stealing their logo.
TMZ is reporting that the legendary hip hop group is pissed that both companies are selling products like t-shirts, glasses, hats, wallets amongst other items with their stolen logos without their permission and they want $50 million because of it.
Apparently, because Walmart and Amazon “are advertising, selling, manufacturing, promoting and distributing multiple products with the logo” it’s hurting business elsewhere because it makes it seem as though the group approved of it.
The group had inked a deal with Adidas for $1.6 million proving that their logo is worth some serious cash.
