Raise your hand if you got your life to #TheNewEditionStory last week!! BET did an excellent job with executing the story and the marketing for the 3-part miniseries about the R&B group and the viewership reflects that.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the extended biopic averaged 5.4 million viewers a night! 5.5 million viewers tuned in the first night and 5.4 million tuned in for night 2. However, BET finished strong with 5.6 million tuned in for the finale! This means that this is the top production of the week and for the year so far.
