Jeezy was recently slapped with a $100K lawsuit for allegedly skipping out on a show out in Houston, according to XXL Mag!
He was supposed to perform back in December of 2016 but backed out at the last minute. He instead allegedly pocketed the promoters $30K deposit and attended an album release party in Atlanta.
The promoter, Darryl Austin claims that he had begun the process to start booking Jeezy in October 2016. They had agreed that Jeezy would perform for one hour at Houston’s Arena Theater. By the time November had rolled around, Jeezy’s camp allegedly told Darryl that Jeezy no longer wanted to do the gig. Unfortunately Darryl claims that by time he got a hold of the information over 1,000 show tickets had been sold.
We hear that Darryl even went as far as offering to pay him an extra $20K and tried to reschedule the concert but Jeezy was making it extremely difficult, according to the suit.
The promoter is demanding $100k in damages.
