Y’all remember the guy who planted a kiss on Meryl Streep at the Oscars? Well, Roommates, word on the street is that ‘Gary from Chicago’ got out of prison 3 days before he showed up at the Oscar’s, bumping elbows with A-list celebrities like Denzel Washington and many others.
According to USA Today, Gary Alan Coe spent the last 20 years behind bars! He reportedly committed multiple felonies, but Coe is ready to put it all behind him.
“I’m the luckiest man in the world,” he told his hometown TV station.
“Change is possible,” he said. “It’s a sad day to be in prison for 20 years and not be able to be a dad, granddad to your children. You know what my son told me today, man, and I almost came to tears. He said he’s proud of me. So to hear your children say that they’re proud of me means the world to me,” Coe said.
Although Gary and his fiancee stole our hearts with their live TV wedding, the couple will officially tie the knot this summer in California.
