T.I sat down with Angie Martinez and opened up about his separation from Tiny, and kept it all the way real!
“There’s no beef. Like, we’re good. We’re straight. Everybody else got the problem. We see each other. We speak. We talk. We spend time together, We’re good.”
TIP continued,
“That’s still one of the best friends in the world that I’ve ever had. I can be a better best friend, than a husband.”
According to The Jasmine Brand,, TIP is just trying to focus on his family at the moment, and marriage just doesn’t fit in his equation.
“It seems to me that marriage and what marriage means and what marriage does–it’s just one of those things that’s going to distract me and deter me. And that could be selfish, but ultimately, I’m the patriarch of this family. And it’s my responsibility to take us onward and upward. I just have a purpose and I don’t always have the time to do the thoughtful and considerate things that a husband should do.”
The rapper also said that he’s not dating anyone.
“I’m not in a relationship with nobody, I’’m in a relationship with me and my mission”
On a lighter note, TIP isn’t worried if he has to pay Tiny alimony.
“Money is not an issue. I don’t care nothing about that. Alimony pales in comparison to the potential of what I can produce, if I’m focused and pushing forward.”
