#Roommates, Berkeley hot dog shop Top Dog is sending a clear message to its customers that any form of racism will not be tolerated. Top Dog caught wind that one of their employees, Cole White, attended the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia and after a lengthy discussion it is being reported that Cole resigned.
Cole was among many individuals who were put on blast on social media for attending the insensitive event. He was identified on Twitter holding a torch, which prompted users to hit up Top Dog about their employee.
Top Dog has since posted a flyer saying,
“Effective Saturday 12th August, Cole White no longer works at top dog. The actions of those in Charlottesville are not supported by top dog. We believe in individual freedom, and voluntary association for everyone.”
