Recently DMX was placed on house arrest, but now the rapper is asking the judge to allow him to leave so he can support his children.
According to TMZ, DMX’s lawyer, Murray Richman, reportedly sent a letter off to a New York federal judge on Monday asking that his client is granted permission to travel to Atlanta, Las Vegas, Philly and Los Angeles.
The judge has reportedly denied his request to travel to Atlanta because it came in too late. All requests to leave the house has to be submitted at least one week prior.
When it comes to his request to travel to the remaining three cities, DMX’s probation officers want the judge to deny those requests as well. They are reportedly convinced that the travel will interfere with his drug program.
Richman reportedly revealed to TMZ that he is in negotiations to get his client out for his upcoming appearances because he has 15 children to support, and he needs to make a living.
As we previously reported, DMX was placed on house arrest earlier this month because he violated the terms of his bail conditions and failed his drug test.
