50 Cent is back to his regular Instagram shenanigans, and this time, he’s going at it with Taraji P. Henson. Taraji was a guest on T.I’s ‘Expeditiously’ podcast, where she spoke about ‘Power’ and ‘Empire’ being competing black television shows.
Clearly, her commentary did not rub 50 the right way. Taraji definitely spoke her mind, making it clear that she thinks 50 Cent creates negativity surrounding the two shows.
And in regular 50 Cent fashion, Curtis sends her an apology on Instagram that’s not so apologetic.

I saw @tarajiphenson on @troubleman31 podcast, this is my sincere apology I did not mean to hurt your feelings in anyway. I love your work and I think you are amazing. I’m sorry no one is watching your show anymore.????I realize I have to work on the fact that I have less empathy then others. I have met with the top executives at Fox and sold them(The Notorious Cop) it’s the show that is replacing yours???? but I really want to work with you. I mean your awesome we would work well together????but if you don’t like the idea I understand. ????if you don’t roll with me, your gonna get rolled the fuck over. #starzgettheapp #abcforlife Feb 11
It’s clear 50 has no problem creating some competition between shows, but Taraji thinks he should be more thoughtful with his words. Taraji speaks on how hard she’s worked to get to where she is, and how much both ‘Empire’ and ‘Power’ impact black culture.
