50 Cent Issues Public Apology To Andrew Farrell

50 Cent Issues Public Apology To Andrew Farrell

This afternoon, we reported to you guys how rapper 50 Cent, FKA: Curtis Jackson, made fun of airport employee Andrew Farrell who, unbeknownst to 50 suffered from autism and Asperger’s syndrome. The family of the young man pledged to get the courts involved unless their son’s antagonizer donated $1 million to a GoFundMe as well as issue a public apology. Well, there’s no word on that milly yet, however an apology has been made.

In a statement for Page Six, 50 Cent said, “While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, I am truly sorry for offending the young man. It was certainly not my intent to insult him or the disability community, which is a source of great strength in America. I have apologized personally to him and his family.”
A whole community is hurting from this! Let’s hope 50 Cent has learned his lesson, because he’s also lost some fans. The rapper clearly showed disregard after filming the encounter, however let’s be positive and pray that this was a wake up call for him to be more mindful of how painful his words can be.
