Everyone goes to the casino prepared to take home some stacks but most of the time people end up leaving with less than they came in with. Well Veronica Castillo of Beaverton, OR., thought she actually won it big but lord did the casino have her f*cked up!!
Castillo took her mother with her to the Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester, WA. and placed $100 for her slots hoping to win it big! Surprisingly, the woman won the jackpot totaling just over $8 million! “I was very excited, happy,” she told said. “Then I couldn’t believe it.” Man, I don’t know what I’d do first with that much money! What would you guys do?
Anyway, when Castillo went to redeem her winnings, she says she was told that the machine had malfunctioned and that she would not be receiving the money….bish whet!? Oh and to add insult to injury, she also alleges that they cut off the machine and printed out a new ticket for $80 instead…nah, they tried it!
Apparently casino machines have a disclosure that says “machine malfunctions void all plays,” so basically Ms. Castillo…ain’t no millions bih!
“They came to me and said: ‘We have to shut off the machine,’ Castillo told Inside Edition. “Then I was asking: ‘What about the prize?’ They said: ‘There is no prize.’ It was horrible.” Aye, pobrecita!
The CEO of the casino, John Setterstrom, claims that no slot matching in the state of Washington cashes out that much money. Nonetheless, this has never happened before and Setterstrom is keen on keeping Ms. Castillo as a customer. He’s waiting to hear back from the manufacturer so that they can move forward with the settling the debate over the digital dash.
