“Let’s Get Married!” Lala Anthony is single, but that doesn’t mean she’s looking for her next good thing in her DMs! She opened up in an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’ and talked to the hosts about marriage and dating and said an earful! Although she caught the bouquet at her ‘Power’ star Naturi Naughton’s wedding in August, she made it clear she wouldn’t be next and that she’ll “never get married again.” Lala tried to skip the topic, but Charlamagne Tha God told her to run it back and elaborate on it.
The actress and entrepreneur said,
“It was one of those things in life that I can check it off like I did that.” She added, “I’ve experienced it. I know the good and the bad that happened to me, so it’s not something I want to experience again.”

DJ Envy asked Lala what type of man she was looking for, and she made it clear she didn’t have a checklist of what she preferred but wants somebody she could vibe with. He also asked if she would date another athlete, and Lala dished she is staying away from the NBA.
As we previously reported, in June 2021, she filed for divorce from her estranged husband, NBA baller Carmelo Anthony after 11 years of marriage. In October 2021, the actress spoke out publicly about the divorce on Angie Martinez’s radio show for the first time.
In the interview, she told Angie she moved forward with the divorce after years of separation because things became so bad because the divorce was public. “It was bad because there were other people involved. It was bad because there were allegations. It got bad,” she explained.
After the divorce announcement, Hollywood Unlocked reported that a woman claimed Carmelo fathered her twins. Lala acknowledged the rumors and admitted to Angie that she felt like she’s been living a lie. She went as far as denying pregnancy rumors to her family and friends about the twins to protect Carmelo and his family.
Although Lala has been through a lot in her past marriage, we hope she finds love! Roommates, would you think she should give marriage one more shot?
