More Details Are Revealed About Rose’s & Dirden’s Relationship And Wedding
According to BRIDES, Rose met Dirden in 2014 when both actors were cast in the Broadway production A Raisin In The Sun. She explained the beginning of their relationship with the publication.
We were friends for a couple of years, actually… We both went off and did our own things and were disconnected for a while and then swung back.
A few years later, the pair felt the timing was right for them to take their relationship a step further.
It was the right moment for both of us to be open and available for the possibility of what we have now.
In December 2021, Dirden joined Rose’s family on a Secret Santa Zoom and “played a beautiful video” of the couple’s “time together, underscored by Norah Jones’ “Come Away With Me.” From there, Dirden played a phone conversation between him and his father, where the two discussed “love, partnership, and Jason’s desire to propose.”
When the video ended, with all our friends and family watching, he went to one knee and asked me to marry him.
However, with strenuous work schedules, the couple’s next order of business was to plan a wedding in only eight weeks. Eventually, the couple booked the Paramour Estate, also known as “The Most Beautiful Home in Hollywood.” And set the date for October 16, 2022.

The ceremony was officiated by Euphoria star Colman Domingo. And Rose even shared a word of advice for fellow couples preparing for their big day.
My grandma always told me, ‘Every kick is a boost.’ Things are going to go wrong, but everything that went ‘wrong’ during our planning was followed by something better. You may find that your ‘plan b’ couldn’t be more perfect. We sure did.
