On the heels of Angela Yee‘s recent sit-down with Tamron Hall, Porsha Williams is speaking out about how she personally “did not feel supported” when she appeared on the journalist’s talk show back in late 2021.
Porsha Says Her Conversation With Tamron Hall ‘Didn’t Feel Good’
The subject came up when Porsha appeared as a guest on The Breakfast Club on Monday, and Charlamagne mentioned how he feels as though Tamron and her producers are more interested in “being messy” now that Wendy Williams has left television.
“I feel like Tamron Hall and her producers got together at some point and said, ‘Look, Wendy Williams is leaving, so somebody on daytime TV has to be messy.’ Because it feels like Tamron has been being messy on that show lately. Is it just me?”
In response, Porsha agreed and noted that Tamron’s actually all about bringing the drama, though it’s a “hidden mess.” Additionally, she also spoke on how much she was initially looking forward to the sit-down
“Hidden mess. It’s a hidden mess. I went on Tamron’s show, and I was so excited. She’s a beautiful Black woman, she’s branched off [and] got her own show.”
However, in spite of the former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star being excited to link up with Tamron, Porsha shared that she “did not not necessarily feel supported on her show.”
Williams further elaborated, noting that she felt as though Tamron Hall was “almost attacking” her.
“I didn’t expect her to agree with everything. But there was a turn where it turned from just her asking questions about the book to her kind of almost attacking me. Almost making me feel like I had to justify anything that I had going on.”
She added, “It just didn’t feel good.”
For further context, we should add that—at one point during the 2021 interview—Tamron pressed Porsha on saying that she and Simon were “dating” when they were actually engaged to be married. She also questioned Porsha on why they hadn’t set a wedding date.

Social Media Says Tamron Hall Is Simply A ‘Straight Shooter’
As Porsha’s comments began to pick up steam, people began to chime in on Twitter.
However, various users felt as though Porsha was overreacting and that Tamron was simply doing her job.

It was even pointed out how Porsha’s response marks the reason why she chose to not return to RHOA. Additionally, others suggested that Porsha’s reaction to the situation was ironic.
This is exactly why Porsha didn't return to #RHOA. She did not want to be grilled about being a homewreckers. Tamron let her off quite easy so she should appreciate that.
