Chile, these past few weeks have really shown that some entertainers just need to leave politics with the politicians! On the latest episode of abusing the black card, Chingy was dragged through social media for what seemed to be an endorsement for Donald Trump.
If you missed it, he tweeted, “Politics vs society. People should innerstand that politics is a business jus like the job you work at. I vote for @realDonaldTrump “YEP” 3.” And then followed up that tweet with another one, “@realDonaldTrump knows how to conduct business. This country is a business an needs to be ran by a businessman. It’s not personal people!”
So it goes without saying that black twitter & Instagram have submitted him for the next #RaceDraft! Catching drift of the chaos he caused, he felt it appropriate to clear the air on what he really meant.
So now there’s this video floating around the Internet titles “I DO NOT endorse Donald Trump.” This is what he had to say:
“I do not endorse Donald Trump. Not whatsoever.”
He explains how he read an article and Donald had laid out some “good things” he was going to do for the U.S.
“And that’s where those comments came from,” he continued. “In no way do me and Donald Trump share the same personal views –especially when it comes to minorities so I do not endorse him. I actually want to thank the fans who brought this to my attention and made me be aware of the negative things he stated….no I can say I definitely don’t endorse Donald Trump.”
He ended with thanking his fans again and apologizing to those who he offended.
