Social media is buzzing following Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ apology video for assaulting Cassie Ventura in leaked hotel footage in 2016.
As previously reported by The Shade Room, the Grammy winner said he was “truly sorry,” but most of the Roomies aren’t buying it.

Combs Apologizes For His Actions
CNN released a video on May 17 of the Bad Boy CEO assaulting Cassie. He appeared to throw the singer to the ground, kick her, and drag her down the hall.

In Diddy’s apology video, he stated that “it’s difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you gotta do that.” He said that he was “f***** up” and “hit rock bottom.” Sean added that his actions were “inexcusable” and took “full responsibility for [his] actions.” The 54-year-old said he was “disgusted” by his actions.
Furthermore, Combs claimed that he “had to go to therapy” and “ask God for his mercy” for his actions. Combs ended the video apologizing, “I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
Social Media Reacts To Diddy’s Apology
@1brotherjoshua empathized with Diddy writing, “I’m so glad God don’t treat us how we treat each other when we’ve done wrong. There wouldn’t be a soul left if He punished us for all of our sins.”
