Omeeka has definitely been the couple to watch this past year as many ups and downs have seemed to plague the relationship. Well one thing is for sure fans speculated on if the pair were engaged after Meek gifted his boo with some huge rings!
Well, Nicki Minaj visited Ellen this week where she weighed in on that rock sitting pretty on her ring finger. Her boo, Meek Mill has gifted her two rings: a yellow, heart-shaped diamond ring and the other for her birthday last year, which is pictured here. She’s always maintained that Meek told her that he’d give her three rings before they were married, but it looks like Miss Minaj may be getting cold feet.
Once the cameras began zooming in on her hand, Ellen began to inquire about it and mistakenly called it an engagement ring. Nicki responded with, “First of all, that’s not an engagement ring. I have two rings from this boy who likes me. He said that that’s my second ring and if I get a third ring that that would be the engagement ring.”
However, Ellen went on to question where he or not Nicki was ready for that next step and she said “I don’t know. We’re still figuring each other out. In fact, I don’t even want to say I’m in a relationship anymore cause I think when people hear that, they go to a mean place. I used to say I’m not in a relationship even though I was in a 12-year relationship. Then now, [I’m] just going back to that and saying I’m single.”
