Fans are a little upset after it had been reported that pop icon, Madonna, would be doing the Prince tribute at the Billboard Awards next Sunday. It was also reported that she’d be the only person doing a tribute. Anyway, a petition has been started in order to prevent Madge from honoring Prince through song and is addressed to the Billboard Awards.
It reads:
“We cannot let Madonna be the main and only artist tributing Prince during the 2016 Billboard Awards. He is more than worthy of a better choice as a main performer. Please sign and share this petition so that we can get a proper tribute on May 22, 2016. Timing is tight! Spread the word.”
Will you be signing it, Roommates? I mean, Madge is still one of the most iconic entertainers in pop music, however, it does seem odd that she’s supposedly the only person paying tribute to him at this awards show. What are your thoughts? Let’s chat!
