Claressa Shields recently popped out looking stunning in a black dress. Social media quickly latched on to the pics and her caption about “upgrading.” Ironically enough, this past weekend, Remy Ma also went viral for a photo in a sleek dress! Meanwhile, Papoose has been M.I.A since his first and only response to the internet drama earlier this month.

Claressa shared photos wearing the curve-hugging black dress on December 22. It was a carousel Instagram post and featured moments from what looked like two events. She wore black dresses to both, but it’s her lace, high-slit looks that got the internet chattin’. The gown is floor length, with a slit that exposed 90% of her left legs and thigh. It featured printed lace material in the abdomen area and the end of the slit. She paired the look with diamond hoop earrings, a silver clutch, and strappy heels. Her hair was styled in a half-up, half-down curly look. Photos show her posing with her exposed leg poked out and with that same leg against the wall.
“Only Going up! It’s called Upgrading 🥰 ⬆️ So Grateful For my life,” she wrote in the caption.
The carousel post received over 1,200 comments and nearly 43,000 likes. While some comments praised her fits and her hard career work, others gently (and strongly) urged the champion boxer to get a stylist.

What’s The Tea Between Claressa Shields, Remy Ma, & Papoose?
Almost two weeks ago, the women exchanged words online after Ma exposed Claressa as Papoose’s alleged girlfriend. Remy had the smoke for both Shields and her estranged husband online. Additionally, the former “Golden Couple” and Black Love champs accused each other of cheating. Mind you, while Pap confirmed he had “moved on,” he didn’t explicitly say Shields is his boo. A resurfaced video of them from a few months back shows a lil’ connection but nothing that gave “boo’ed up.”

And Remy Ma’s alleged boo, Eazy The Block Captain, also weighed in after Papoose confirmed a floating rumor about knocking him out. He later claimed that Pap knew about him, and explained how he met Remy Ma.
Remy Ma posted her cream-colored, winter look after Claressa Shields claimed she’d be willing to step in the ring for a dollar.
Relationship drama aside, Claressa Shields has been on a press tour for her new bio-pic ‘The Fire Inside.’ It drops in theaters on Christmas Day.
