Chloe Bailey isn’t playing about keeping her love life private—no matter what folks see in public! The singer recently popped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ and chatted about her career. Less than a month after turning up with Burna Boy in Nigeria, Chloe was seemingly swerving questions left and right about the artist!

Chloe Bailey Trips Up Radio Host With Responses
‘The Breakfast Club’ released their chat with Bailey on January 8, which also included NAACP President Derrick Johnson and BET CEO Scott Mills. So, boom, here’s how the conversation led to Burna Boy.
The NAACP Image Award nominations dropped on Tuesday (January 7), but the actual ceremony isn’t until February 22. Bailey is nominated for ‘Outstanding Music Video’ for her song ‘Boy Bye.’ On ‘The Breakfast Club,’ guest host Loren Lorosa asked Chloe about her red-carpet date. The star replied, “My godmom and my manager.”
But Loren pushed, asking, “We ain’t’ gon see no more Burna Boy?” Bailey quickly responded, “You’ll have to ask him.” When Loren pointed out that Chloe was there and not Burna, she simply replied, “Uh oh” with a smile. Everyone at the table had a lil’ chuckle at that. Afterward, Loren explained that she was wondering about him publicly supporting Chloe Bailey’s nomination after their Lagos link-up. She also asked, “So, is that a new thing?” And, again, Chloe seemed to beat around the question!
“Nigeria was so beautiful. I had the best time,” Chloe said, before recalling all the yummy food she had.
Loren Lorosa tried again to slip in a question about the Nigerian star. She asked Bailey about Nigeria’s nightlife, mentioning that she saw her in the club with Burna. “The nightlife, it was so many lights, so many colors,” Chloe replied. At that point, Charlamagne Tha God stepped in, saying “What are you trying to ask Loren?” So she asked Chloe whether her and Burna Boy are “a thing” and whether he’s her “boo.”
“Well, I’m a grown woman so you know. I had a great time in Nigeria. I really did,” she said.
Loren followed up by asking what happened after the trip and mentioned that Burna had been spotted with another woman in Nigeria after Chloe’s visit. The singer replied, “I didn’t see that.” A few seconds later, she added, “Yeah, he’s a grown man, just like I’m a grown woman.

As mentioned, Chloe Bailey riled her fans up when she popped out with Burna in Lagos days before Christmas. It was the first time the two had been spotted kicking it. Viral videos and photos showed the entertainers pulling up to a nightclub together and partying on the inside. They appeared very familiar with each other, sitting closely and exchanging touches, such as his hand on her thigh. At the time, neither of them responded to the dating speculations the footage caused! Since then, they have kept hush on what their link-up was all about!
