Coi Leray seems to be throwing a lil’ shade on the internet ahead of Valentine’s Day. Roommates, as you might know, it’s been a couple of weeks since she revealed a split from Trippie Redd.

The estranged couple dated a few years ago but split and reconciled publicly in August 2024. They announced their pregnancy at the top of this year. However, before the end of the month, she seemingly accused him of cheating. Now, just one day before Valentine’s Day, she’s dropping another message about letting men go!
Here’s What Coi Leray Said Before V-Day
Leray took to X (formerly Twitter) with the message, “Sometimes you gotta let these n****s go be with their type. F**k em.” It looks like Coi has since deleted the message from X. In The Shade Room’s comment section, the roommates sounded off about her message–some on her side, others not.
@therealmemphitz wrote, “Here we go. Valentines unhappy aggressive posts for the next week. Sis let that man go be wit his real wife. Sheesh. Yu was never that. & Yu know thiss. Dont nobody care bout that lil money.”

Where Is Trippie Redd?
Mind you, Trippie Redd has YET to address the mother of his soon-to-be firstborn. 2024 was a bit of a wild rollercoaster in the rapper’s private life. Before publicly reconciling with Coi, Trippie revealed how he learned the child he thought was his son wasn’t his. Redd told DDG that he got a DNA test done on a child he believed he had welcomed with his former girlfriend. “And I ended up getting a DNA test and it wasn’t my kid,” he said in April 2024.
“I feel like all the things I was going through during that time was, like, really f**king with me…That’s why I couldn’t go on tour, or like, couldn’t do shows and s**t. I couldn’t really get in my s**t, and feel good and s**t. It was a lot of s**t going on. Just a lot of confusion. I mean, it’s life. A lot of s**t just happens. Maybe it happened for a reason,” Redd said at the time.
Still, he’s not being chatty about the cheating allegations. Meanwhile, Coi Leray hit the booth and dropped a five-track EP for her fans called, ‘What Happened To Forever?’
On her X timeline, she’s been reposting content about tables turning, rebranding, and victim-playing. On Thursday, she also reposted a strong message saying F America’s favorite love season, Valentine’s Day.
