Can we talk about how Simone Biles is just winning in all areas of life these days? She’s already won four gold medals and one bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics, and if that’s not enough, her long time celebrity crush, Zac Efron, flew out to Rio just to see her!
We posted the super cute video of Simone cheesing real hard when Zac surprised her in Rio the other day, and gave her a kiss on the cheek, and if you’ve been keeping up with our #BlackGirlMagic gymnast, then you know she stans hard for her ‘man’.
Zac sat down with the Today show Wednesday morning to spill the tea on how this meeting came to be in the first place.
He said, “Their story just blew my mind…When I found out Simone and the team were fans, I was like, ‘What kind of a guy am I if I don’t show up?'”
Zac also said that he heard about Simone’s crush on him from multiple people. **Gathers everyone I know to get a hold of Drake…
He added that he “started watching all the gymnastics,”and he became “immediately captivated by these girls.”
If you saw the video, you know Simone was over the moon and could barely keep it together when she met him.
“If you bring him out, I think I’m going to pass out,” she told the Today show.
She didn’t end up passing out, but it’s safe to say this might be the best part of her experience in Rio judging by her overall reaction in the video below!
