Roommates, although it’s nothing to be proud of, I’m sure there are times when you didn’t leave your server a tip after eating out.
Maybe it’s because you didn’t like his or her service, or maybe it’s because your bill came out to be more than you planned for, and it pained you to not save that extra coin. Whatever the case may be, the reason was probably nowhere near as disturbing as this lady who completely tried it!
WHSV reports on Sadie Elledge, a waitress at a lunch spot in Virginia, who had the most uncomfortable experience with a man and woman she was serving.
She said, “They wouldn’t talk to me. They would just nod their heads,”
Get this Roommates, the woman had the nerve to sign the receipt saying, “We only tip citizens.” Wayment, say what now??
“It shouldn’t even matter, I just feel like it’s rude and disrespectful. I’ve never met, I’ve never done anything to them,” the waitress said to WHSV.
It was definitely rude, disrespectful, and uncalled for and the restaurant owner Angeliki Floros isn’t here for it either, because she allegedly banned the man and woman from the restaurant.
“Coward is the word to describe what they did. I have worse words to use,” she said, “But let’s go with coward.”
She continued, “I would like for them to not come here unless they regret what they did.”
