Toya Johnson Goes Viral After Opening Up About Her Past Marriage With Lil Wayne
The reality star sat down with Carlos King on his podcast, ‘Really With The King,’ and told it all about her past relationship with Lil Wayne. Chileeeee! Toya Johnson kept it real, telling Carlos she could easily still be in a “situationship” with Wayne if she wanted to. However, she made it clear that she ended things with him back in the day due to his nonstop cheating. She also admitted that when she was younger, she realized she deserved better.
“When you’re young, you go through a lot, you take a lot. At a certain point, you wake up, and you be like, ‘I deserve better. Now I have a daughter.’ I could’ve still today been in that situation and can be today if I wanted to.”
Despite her comment, Toya did it make it clear that she and Wayne are strictly platonic and there’s no beef between them. Now, she says they have an amazing relationship, and “she pretty much sees him like a brother.”
“We talk about his girls. We have a really good relationship. We been knowing each other for so long, we don’t even look at each other like that anyway,” Toya added.
Furthermore, Toya continued to clarify things, saying she could very much just be “Wayne’s baby momma messing with him right now and not letting it go.” But the entrepreneur added, “she’s A WIFE! and she knows what she wants in life.”

Despite what the internet thinks, Toya Johnson’s husband, Robert “Red” Rushing, seems unbothered by her interview remarks. He posted a sweet photo on Instagram right after her chat with Carlos King. The pic shows him kissing Toya on the forehead as they pose outside, probably at a restaurant. In his caption, he reminisced about being there for her when she lost her two brothers, Ryan “Rudy” Johnson and Joshua Johnson, in 2016. He also gave Toya props for staying strong and reminded her that they’re about to live it up.
