A woman from California is once again making headlines following a recent interview with Guinness. Chanel Tapper continues to hold the record for having the world’s longest tongue. She earned the record back in 2010 and is still holding strong! In a new interview, she spoke about her record-breaking three-inch tongue and all the reactions she gets from it!

Get Into Chanel Tapper’s Tongue Details
In her chat with Guinness World Record, the 34-year-old admitted that she likes scaring people with her exceptional tongue. Officially, Tapper’s tongue measures 3.8 inches long. She revealed that reactions to her unusual attributes usually range from very loud screams to wide-eyed stares of disbelief whenever she unveils her secret.
“Honestly, the best reaction I could ever get when someone sees my tongue is screaming,” she shared in her interview. “I actually do like when people yell or scream in shock, or horror sometimes…But that’s probably my favorite one because it’s funny to me because it’s a dramatic response.”
While some may find Tapper’s tongue a little intimidating, she has managed its potential in the most creative ways possible. During her interview, our good sis went on to demonstrate how she can easily extract Jenga blocks. But that’s not all. She additionally showed off her ability to easily curl her tongue around a spoon, holding it effortlessly by its midpoint.
Tapper’s Tongue Is Taking Her Places!
While some have jokes, the fascination with Tapper’s tongue has opened incredible doors for her over the years. According to The New York Post, she previously starred in an advertising campaign for Diesel, a gig she landed because of her unusual talent. But Tapper expressed that if there’s one thing her tongue has changed about her life, it’s the beautiful places and fellow record holders she’s gotten to meet along the way.
“My favorite thing about being a record holder has to be when I get to travel and meet other record holders as well,” she said as she effortlessly flipped a red cup over on the table with her tongue.
But despite the attention her mouth has gained her over the years, Ms. Tapper is remaining humble, y’all. She emphasized that she has no interest in pursuing fame for its own sake. She admitted that flaunting her tongue “for no reason” isn’t quite her style.
