Parents often joke about Ms. Rachel being their bonus parent, babysitter, personal tutor, and all the caretakers in between! From her singsongy voice to her learning content on YouTube, Rachel Griffin Accurso is a HIT with toddlers. And sis has billions of views and over 14 million subscribers to prove it! Now, she’ll soon have another little fan as the YouTuber recently announced she and her husband, Aron Accurso, welcomed their second child, a daughter named Susannah.

Ms. Rachel Reveals She Welcomed Daughter Via Surrogacy
The YouTuber dropped the bombshell family news on Instagram on Tuesday (April 8). She shared a single selfie of her and Susannah, with no overalls or pink headband in sight! Instead, Ms. Rachel had on a red-and-white plaid shirt and was gazing at the newborn sleeping on her chest.
It’s the first look at her and Aron’s mini-me, and it’s the first time Ms. Rachel has announced that their family has grown! In her caption, she clarified that she did not carry Susannah in her womb but was extremely thankful for the surrogate who did. The YouTuber did not reveal the woman’s identity but said she is now her forever family.
“We welcomed sweet baby Susannah into the world! 💕 We are so in love! Sometimes timing isn’t what you plan and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect, but when you hold your little ones you know… I’m meant to be your mama. I was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons, and we were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible. We are now all family forever. We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her.”
The couple, who have been married since 2016, are already parents to a son named Thomas. Last year, Ms. Rachel revealed that he was their rainbow baby, as they had welcomed him following a miscarriage. Her caption also thanked Aron for being “the best husband and dada.”

Baby Susannah isn’t the only one in Ms. Rachel’s family who’s gotten some public love recently. As mentioned, there’s a Mr. Rachel in the picture, better known as Aron Accurso. With his Broadway composer background, Aron is very much involved in his wife’s YouTube career, often guest-starring in her content. In mid-March, she penned sweet words praising his commitment to their life and love.
“My co-creator, co-pilot, and co-producer—working tirelessly behind the scenes. There’s no Ms. Rachel without Mr. Aron. @aronaccurso Thank you for making my dreams come true, babe! (And of course love of my life, best friend, soulmate! ✨❤️ And amazing dada),” Ms. Rachel wrote on Instagram on March 19.
Will She Continue To Film Content For Toddlers?
Now that Rachel Griffin and Aron Accurso are a family of four, some parents (and littles) might wonder what that means for her content-making! In truth, the YouTuber has already been on a lil’ hiatus from the platform. Her last video, a hide-and-seek activity featuring Elmo, was uploaded at the top of Janaury. However, later that same month, she made her debut on Netflix with a curated playlist of her videos. She has continued to share shorter videos on Instagram, though. That content includes potty training tips to posts advocating for the safety of Palestinian children and families.
Last month, Ms. Rachel revealed that the content break was due to her own family matters. She shared the update twice in the comment section of her post praising Aron (see above). Two users had questioned the lack of new YouTube videos.
“I’m sorry. We’ve had some family things to attend to. Nothing to do with Netflix, as that is content from YouTube,” Ms. Rachel replied to one comment. In another reply, she said: “I’m sorry. We’ve had some family things to attend to.”
It’s unclear if those matters were related to the surrogacy pregnancy, though. Keep in mind the first time we all learned of Baby Susannah was with her mama’s social media announcement this week. So, WHEN will she be back on YouTube? Only time will tell, as she’s likely soaking up those newborn snuggles right now!
