Lil Wayne and Birdman are back at it! Things have been pretty quiet lately but now Lil Wayne reopens the deep cut claiming that Birdman owes him more money.
According to the documents obtained by TMZ, Universal Music Group advanced $100M to be split equally between himself and Birdman on behalf of the Young Money label. But According to Wayne, Birdman ran through $70M of that money. That’s $20M more than his fair share!
Wayne specifically lists “royalties, marketing and recording expenses,” as Birdman’s admitted spends.
At this point Lil Wayne just wants Birdman to show his lawyers the records of how much exactly was spent and where the money really went.
Do y’all think Birdman is going to open those books?! This isn’t looking too good on his end considering they’re still battling Wayne’s $51M lawsuit, filed January 2016.
