We have all witnessed Laura Govan and Gilbert Arenas battle it out on social media. Now it looks like one of their many battles is the cause of Laura being ordered to pay up.
According to TMZ, in one of their many lawsuits against each other, a judge has ordered Laura to pay $110,110 for emotional distress. This comes after she allegedly wrote an email about Gilbert giving her STD’s and then leaking the email.
The former NBA player claimed to have been distracted from working on an app due to being humiliated. He originally was looking to be paid a full seven figures, however the judge said there was not enough evidence for him to be awarded that amount.
The judge also took into consideration that Laura “has very limited financial means at this time.”
Hopefully both Laura and Gilbert can move to a happier place.
