DDG Sparks Reactions THIS Post Amid Drama With Halle Bailey
On Friday, May 16, DDG slid on X (formerly Twitter), dropping some words that has the internet in a frenzy. He didn’t mention the reports that are floating around, but he assured fans that his confidence is still up despite the circumstances. “I’ll forever be that n***a.. I’m sorry,” he wrote.
The rapper’s latest post comes after he told fans he would continued streaming amid Halle Bailey’s emotional and physical abuse allegations against him. “I’ll forever be that n***a.. I’m sorry.” i’m chillin btw.. i have no worries

Kai Cenat Weighs In On DDG’s & Halle’s Issues
Speaking of streaming, Kai Cenat spoke about the current circumstances between the parents and as he highlighted DDG as the first professor of his Streaming University. Roomies, if you recall Kai is familiar with the co-parents as DDG brought Halo on his stream in November 2024 allegedly without Halle’s approval. Then, months later he met Halle face-to-face at the Met Gala after party this year. Well now, Kai is sharing his thoughts on how he feels about where the exes stand. While speaking to his viewers, Kai straight-up said that there’s two sides to every story and he’s standing in the middle of this one.
“There is two sides of a story going on right now and I am in the middle to where I just have to be able to see things play out. Honestly chat, it’s two sides of a story and you gotta be able to respect both of them,” Kai explained.
Then, he went on to tell his fans to pray for both the co-parents as they sort through this tough time. “All you can do is pray for both sides, honestly.. and that’s facts. Pray for DDG and pray for Halle, you know what I’m saying.”
Despite asking for prayers for both of them, he did credit DDG for his work as a content creator and mentioned his admiration and respect for him. “But I want to go ahead and say, DDG is a pioneer within what I do. I want to go ahead and make that clear. And I respect him a lot.”
Here’s Where The Exes Stand Right Now
As for Halle & DDG, PEOPLE obtained new docs showing Halle scoring temporary legal and physical custody of Halo. She accused DDG of physical and emotional abuse. TMZ dropped pics of her with bruises on her arm and a chipped tooth. That in turn helped her lock down a temporary restraining order, making DDG stay a 100 yards away from her and Halo. The order will remain in place until their court date on June 4.
In Halle’s declaration that appeared online, she reportedly noted that she did everything she could to avoid going to court over Halo. However, she mentioned that she could no longer tolerate the abuse and threats from DDG.
“I realize that there is no placating Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this. I never know when he is going to demand our son to be in his mother’s care and whether I will be subjected to his threats and abuse,” Bailey’s statement allegedly read.
